According to the Trend on Loan/Deposit at nationwide Japanese Banks (Flash Report) as of end August being announced on September 08, 2014 by The Bank of Japan, an average Bank Lending Outstanding at nationwide Japanese Banks (City Banks, Regional Banks, Second-tier Regional Banks) was \414,770,100 million (*equivalent to US$4,147,701 million), or 2.3% increase over the result, in the same month of last year. The Bank Finance toward the Real Estate such as M&A (Merger and Acquisition) done by Companies, toward Real-Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and/or toward Residential Houses have been continuously going in strong to result 35 months continuous up trend. The Extension Percentage, however, remained at the same level as the previous month.

Analyzing the above result, a total of City banks recorded 1.0% increase from that of a previous month. A total Lending Outstanding of Regional Banks and the same of Second-tier Banks increased by 3.5% of the previous month, which is nearly the same increase ratio gained in the previous month. The Bank of Japan (Financial Institution) has commented gWhile Loaning to those middle-ranking small-to-mid. size firms have shown little by little progress but the acceleration is still not yet significanth .

The total Deposit Balance including Negotiable Deposit, but excepting Draft and Check, of those City Banks, Regional Banks and Second-tier Regional Banks was \606,324,100 million (*equivalent to US$6,063,241 million). The relative increasing ratio from the previous month was raised from that of the previous month to record high 2.9% being the highest since May of this year. The Personal deposit recorded the similar increase ratio as the previous month and the Corporate deposit was increased mainly at those City Banks as well.
