A Message toward the end of 2011 from the top management of
Sakura Corporation

In the year 2011we have experienced various unexpected issues at home and abroad.
In our country, huge earthquake to be said it occurs only in several millenaries occurred on March 11 in North-East area. Catastrophic damage was brought to such area by a giant TSUNAMI to snuff out as many as 20,000 people there and, out of them, whereabouts of more or less 5,000 are yet unknown.
Besides the giant TSUNAMI killed such a big number of human lives, it broke down cities, towns and villages. Further more, it brought up crucial damage to an Atomic Power Plant in the area to cause dispersion of radiation toward extensively wider areas to require vast amount of decreasing contamination works there.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to send my heartfelt appreciation for those who immediately sent us a sympathy and inquiry for worrying our safety.
I, myself, using personal summer time off days in August, joined to a volunteer team of reconstruction at the site there for about one week time and left a certain donation by personal basis.
It was already 4 moth later after the incident, I lost my words to explain the damage given to each town and village through my own experience of visiting there by my own foot and to see the scenery by my own eyes.
Actual areas being damaged by the huge earthquake plus giant TSUNAMI extended over to whole area of Pacific Ocean of North-Eastern Japan to reach as long as 400km in distance. It is said to require several decades to reconstruct the area.
To us Japanese, a tradition of honoring Endurance and Patience. In other words, we Japanese has a heart and mind to overcome any crisis by sharing such Bearing mind. We have shared such overcoming experience several times in the history of our country as well. We still have and share such confidence that we Japanese will overcome, someday in a future, the difficulty we are now confronted with.
It is not possible, however, it will be accomplished only by us Japanese. You people, globally around us, are all invited to extend your understanding and cooperation by any means.
In abroad, on the other hand, deep and long economic downswing has inevitably affects total economy of each country to slow down business performance. In these countries, thus, they must have spent the year with such required response to all these negative factors.
I would like to send my deep appreciation to you and all concerned person in your organization to the fact that we, Sakura Corporation, for better or worse, have accomplished this year by all means.
2012 is, under our Japanese calendar, a year of the Dragon so to say,.
We will, thus. with our full determination , be on a new note, to make a year of flip out over with a significant leap up like a Dragon. Above all, we are committed to vigorously push forward to support you in our business activities.
Count-down toward the end of this year coming near to an end so that we, all staff members at Sakura Corporation wish you and your family a wonderful 2012.

ご挨拶 (Message from the top management)
2011年度を終わるに際して
2011年度は内外とも大変色々なことが有った年です。
日本では3月11日に東北地域でかってない、数千年に一度という規模の大地震が発生しました。
それに伴う想像をはるかに絶する巨大津波で地域は壊滅的被害を蒙りました。
被災し亡くなられた方は2万人近くに達し、その内今なお5千人近くが行方不明のままです。
一方、巨大津波は多くの人命を奪い、都市・街・村を破壊しただけでなく、地域にある原子力発電所にも致命的被害をもたらしました。
原子力発電所の被害により、地域に拡散された放射能汚染は広範囲に及び、今後長期に渡り、膨大な除染作業を要します。
こうした中で、いち早く海外の多くの皆様から被災状況、安否への心配を気遣っての問合せを頂き、また被災お見舞い等の申しでも頂き、ここに改めて感謝申し上げます。
私も、個人的に8月の休暇を利用して微力ですが、1週間ほど被災地での復興ボランテイアに参加し、また個人として義捐金を託してきました。
4ヶ月を経た後でも、実際に現地に足を運び自分の目で被災地を見て、街・村々の余りの壊滅的の被害状況に言葉を無くしました。
今回の巨大地震・巨大津波による被災地域は日本の東北地域太平洋側一帯に及び、400キロ近くの広範囲に達しています、またその復興には今後数十年は要します。
日本人には我慢・辛抱を美徳とする教えがあります。
困難なときほど、皆が我慢し、辛抱し、協力し、その難局を乗り越える心があります、また過去にも幾多とその経験をしてきました。
今回も、必ずこの難局を乗り越える強い自信を我々は共有しています。
しかしこれらは、日本のみでは達成できず、必ず周りの世界中の理解・協力が不可欠に思います。
一方外においては、欧米の景気後退の本格化・長期化により深刻な不景気に落ち入っています。こうした国々では、多くのNegative要因への対応に追われた一年と言えるでしょう。
こうした中、良くも悪くも、弊社がこの一年を終えることが出来ましたのは、ひとえに関係各位皆様方のご協力の賜物と深く感謝申し上げます。
2012年度は我々の暦では辰年です、言うところの竜・ドラゴンです。
我々も新たな気持ちで、竜のごとく舞い上がり飛躍の年にする意気込みです。
そして、何より少しても皆様方のお役に立てられるように邁進していく所存です。
2011年も残るところ後わずかで、来るべき2012年度が皆様そしてご家族にとって素晴らしい年になりますよう、弊社スタッフ一同より願っております。

2011年即将結束之際的社長致辞
2011年度世界中発生了許多大事。
3月11日日本的東北地域発生了数千年一次規模的大地震，大地震引起的難以想像的巨大海嘯、在災紅地域受到了壊滅的災害，在災害中近2万人失去生命、至今近5千人還行方不明。
同時、巨大海嘯除了奪去人門的生命、破壊了都市・街・村以外、該地域的原子力発電所也遭受了致命的被害，由于原子力発電所被害造成的在地域里拡散的放射能汚染的広範囲及、今後長期里、需要的長期除染作業。
在該状況中、得到海外許多人問及被災状況、安否的関心、及対災区的訪問、深表感謝。
我在8月的休暇中、以個人的微博之力、1週間左右、参加了災区的義工、同時捐献了個人義捐金，即使在4個月後、親自到災区看後、関与村的壊滅性被害状況、無法用言語表達，該巨大地震・巨大海嘯引起的受災地域是日本的東北地域太平洋側一帯及、400公里附近的非常広範囲、同時、該復興今後要数十年。
日本人有忍耐、辛抱的美徳，困難時、大家忍耐、辛抱、協力、共同渡過難局、同時、過去也有許多経験。
此回我門也有信心共同渡過難局，但是、単靠日本是無法達成的、世界周辺国的理解・協助是不可少的。
同時、世界欧米的景気後退已進入本格化・長期化。我国今年処在許多消極因素中，在此中、我司在不好不坏中渡過今年、得非常感謝関係各位的協力，2012年度是辰年（龍年）我門也以新的心情、在龍年飛躍，同時、也感謝大家的邁進。
2011年所余不多、祝即将来到来的2012年度里、大家家族幸福。
祝聖誕快楽、新年快楽。
